GKEF Students Helping Others

Several months ago, a few of the children in the Guinea Kids program had the opportunity to lend a helping hand to another non-profit organization doing work in Guinea. Woontanara Aid provides aid to many diverse people in Conakry, Guinea.

Our students helped to build a sewing school building at the Home for People with Disabilities. The sewing school students are girls and young women whose mother and/or father have a physical disability and are unable to work. Educating the young women of these families provides them with a marketable skill with which they will eventually be able to support themselves and their families.

Our students at Guinea Kids Education Fund are growing up knowing the value of giving back to your community and to other communities as well. What we give here is not a one way street. It gets paid forward, it comes back, it sends out ripples of good will wherever it touches.

Let these children touch and inspire you. Join us at our 5th Annual Guinea Kids Benefit Concert and help make a world of difference in the life of a child.
